Let’s Connect

Let’s Connect is the Chamber’s signature networking event. Local business leaders gather after hours for food and drinks at a Chamber member location, fostering the face-to-face connections that power local business at every level.

Mark your calendar for our 2019 events (usually the third Wednesday of each month) and get those business cards ready for action. Let’s Connect is free for Chamber members, $15 for non-members.

Get Involved

Beyond attending Let’s Connect and getting to know your Chamber colleagues, you can boost your company’s profile by participating in a variety of ways. The opportunities below are reserved for Chamber member enterprises in good standing.

Let’s Connect Host

Hosting a Let’s Connect event gives your organization enormous visibility. The Chamber will recognize your support at every opportunity. Benefits include:

  • Appear repeatedly in Chamber communications, including our website, newsletter, social media, and public events calendar.
  • Showcase your products and services in front of up to 200 community members.
  • Make welcome remarks to the group and personally connect with dozens of potential new clients who already know your name.

As host, your enterprise is responsible for organizing a successful event at your location. Requirements include:

  • Must be able to accommodate at least 75 attendees, with sufficient parking
  • Allow exclusive use of your facility during the event (typically 4:30-6:30pm)
  • Provide all food and beverages
  • $1,000 Hosting Fee (may be provided by the host or a co-host)
  • Booking is not secured until the Chamber receives a signed contract and payment

If your location isn’t feasible as an event venue, you can partner with another host – for example, by providing food and beverages, or by sharing the cost of an event. Members must arrange their own co-host agreements and provide details to the Chamber.

Let’s Connect Giveaways – Contribute a Door Prize

Contributing a door prize is an accessible way for member enterprises of any size to gain visibility at Let’s Connect events. A limited number of giveaway opportunities will be available for 2019.

Benefits: Your company will be mentioned at the event and in Chamber communications.

Requirements: The prize value should be at least $15-20. (Example: a gift certificate for lunch, a T-shirt and mug.) More generous prizes are also welcome! Bigger gifts make a bigger splash with event attendees. You must bring your prize item to the Chamber office to reserve a giveaway opportunity.

To contribute a prize, please contact the Chamber at 434.295.3141.
