Dear Fellow Chamber Members,

As we embark on the search for our next Chamber President and CEO, I want to express the Board’s enthusiasm and dedication to this important process. We understand the vital role this position plays in shaping the direction of our organization and, by extension, the future of our region.

Our Board of Directors has appointed a CEO Search Committee composed of leaders from various sectors. The committee will work diligently to ensure a smooth, equitable, and transparent process, and to identify the strongest possible candidate. Together, we can make certain that the Chamber remains a vital resource and advocate for our business community—fostering economic growth, innovation, and inclusivity within our region.

Search Committee Kick-Off Meeting: August 26

Kick-Off Engagement: September 11-12

Two days devoted to in-person stakeholder meetings to gain insights from Chamber members regarding the needs of the Chamber and expertise desired in the next CEO.

Web survey to allow for additional access to the process for those who can’t engage in the meetings noted above.

Job description revised as appropriate.

Active Recruiting: September-November

Zoom Interviews: November 19

First round candidate interviews.

Determine finalists.

In-Person Interviews with Finalists: December 6

Out-of-town candidates spend several days in the area to explore our community.

Board Presentation: TBD/December

CEO Offer: Mid-December

CEO On Board: January 25
