Tell us about your event!
This FREE family-oriented program will feature holiday favorites old and new, a sing-along, a musical reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas featuring UVA emeritus professor Robert Chapel, and a visit from Santa. And maybe — just maybe — the first snowfall of the season!
What does your organization do?
We provide free family band concerts throughout the year, and support middle and high school students with lesson scholarships.
What makes this event important to you?
We have been doing this for 102 years. The Band loves to give back to the community with this special Holiday presentation, and we ask folks to share their good fortune with others by donating to the Emergency Food Network.
What can Chamber members and the community do to help this event succeed?
Help us to advertise and promote this event for the benefit of the community. Ultimate Goal: A Full house of people entertained by our Holiday Music, along with plenty of food to donate.
