What does your organization do?
Flowers Playground provides mobile soft play party rental services, offering a range of equipment and setups for children's parties, events, weddings, etc. We specialize in creating safe, fun, and imaginative play spaces tailored to each client's needs, ensuring memorable experiences for kids and stress-free events for parents.
What is unique about your organization and the work you do in our community?
Flowers Playground stands out by offering a solution to a common problem: the lack of activities tailored to children under four, especially at parties. Our customizable soft play setups provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for these younger children, ensuring that every event is inclusive and enjoyable for all attendees.
What was your first job?
My first job was when I was 14 years old. I worked at Red Robin as a hostess.
How did you choose the field you're in?
I chose the field I am in, because I have always enjoyed working with children. Once I became a stay-at-home mom I started to realize the lack of things to do for toddlers on their birthdays.
What career highlight or accomplishment are you most proud of?
As a small business owner, one of my proudest career accomplishments would be the successful establishment and growth of Flowers Playground. Building my business from the ground up, creating a unique service that fills a gap in the market, and consistently delivering exceptional experiences to my clients. I am one year into my business and I am extremely proud I have come so far!
What is one of your favorite local businesses, and why?
Bodos! I love their bagels and so do my kids!
How do you like to spend your days off?
I like to spend my days off with my kids, out and about exploring.
