Valerie Long, Esq., Williams Mullen Attorney and Partner, Assumes Role as 2013 Chair of the Board of Directors of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce

(Charlottesville, Virginia � January 22, 2013)  As of January 1st, Valerie Long, Esq., Attorney and Partner at Williams Mullen, has assumed the office of 2013 Chair of the Board of Directors of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Long succeeds Patricia L. Cluff, Associate Vice President at the University of Virginia Health System, who served as 2012 Chair of the Chamber Board. The Chamber Board of Directors held its 2013 organizational meeting on Tuesday morning, January 22nd. 

 

 �What an honor to be selected by to serve as Chair the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2013 � our Chamber�s 100th year of building enterprise and our Greater Charlottesville community,� said Ms. Long. �I thank my Chamber colleagues for entrusting me with our Chamber�s stewardship in this our 100th year.  Our Chamber is committed to advancing a vibrant business community and our overall civic community.  This commitment is stronger when we work together; our Chamber has a history of making meaningful impacts on our community; with our members� engagement, we will continue that legacy of service.�
