PVCC hosts education and career resource fair for adult learners on June 12

(Charlottesville, Va.) – Piedmont Virginia Community College will host an Education and Career Resource Fair for Adult Learners on Tuesday, June 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Main Campus, located at 501 College Drive in Charlottesville.

 Residents considering returning to school or changing careers are invited to attend the fair and explore information sessions on the following topics:

  • Education paths that leads to a solid career
  • PVCC programs of study
  • Earning a bachelor’s degree
  • Paying for college
  • How to overcome challenges and achieve academic success as an adult student

 Participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from PVCC, Mary Baldwin College, Old Dominion University Online, University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies and James Madison University Adult Degree Programs.

 Attendees can also enter drawings to win PVCC bookstore gift cards, t-shirts, cups and other free gifts. This event is free and open to the public.
