Notice of Nominations – Chamber Board of Directors

Members of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce,                 This notice is hereby given to Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce members in accordance with the By Laws of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The notice is transmitted electronically through our Chamber newsletter �ChamberBits.� Pursuant to the By Laws of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, the 2011 Chamber Nominating Committee submits the following individuals, identified by their Chamber member enterprises, to serve three year terms as members of the Board of Directors of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, beginning January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2014: Frank Friedman  –  Piedmont Virginia Community College Eddie Giles  –  Professional Movers. Gloria Johnson  –  HR Consulting Chuck Lebo  –  Lebo Commercial Properties Lawrence McConnell  –  The Daily Progress Joseph Raichel  –  Wells Fargo Michael Tubridy  –  Klockner Pentaplast Chad Zakaib  –  Legacy Hospice                 Additional names for candidates for the Chamber Board of Directors may be nominated by a valid petition bearing the genuine identifiable signatures of a minimum of ten percent (10%) of the total general membership in good standing of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Such valid petition shall be filed with the 2011 Chamber Nominating Committee within ten (10) days after the date of this notice.  The determination of the 2011 Chamber Nominating Committee as to the legality and validity of such petition shall be final.                 If no valid petition is filed within the designated time, the nominations shall be closed and the slate of candidates nominated herein shall be declared duly elected by the Board of Directors at its regular October meeting.  Thank you.
