The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce offering a �Discover Tuscany� trip to Tuscany for 10 days, departing March 18, 2012, including a visit to Charlottesville�s Italian �Sister City� Poggio a Caiano, just outside Florence.
On March 18, 2012 interested Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce members and friends will embark on a trip to Tuscany in Italy. Included in the trip are: a tour of the City of Florence (including the Cathedral, Baptistery, and the famous Gates of Paradise), the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a tour of San Gimignano, a Chianti wine tasting, a Tuscan feast dinner, all accompanied by an English speaking tour guide. During this trip, Poggio a Caiano, Montecatini, Florence, Pisa, Carrara, Portofino, San Gimignano, Venice, and Siena will be visited. The group will also have a two hour private meeting with the local officials of Poggio a Caiano.
The Chamber trip includes � round trip airfare to Tuscany, round trip transfers between airports and hotel, hotel luggage handling, 8 nights in a first class hotel, daily breakfast and 4 dinners.
