Citizens’ Forum, Charlottesville Budget and Tax Increases

city of charlottesvilleNext up in the Charlottesville Citizens’ Forum series will be a discussion of the Charlottesville City Budget and Taxes, Process and Implementation followed by a question and answer period.  The forum will be held in the Charlottesville City Council Chambers on Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.

Is the city run efficiently?  Do we need to spend tax money bringing in outside consultants?  Are tax increases a default position or are there ways and places to save money?  Come join us for an informal, informative exchange of ideas.

Presenters will be Bob Fenwick with a few words about the city budget and Dave Shreve will add his insights and experience in the practical results of building a city budget.

Please pass this to friends and neighbors.  THE BUDGET PROCESS WILL START SOON!
