Rising Pros Night at the Fralin Museum

Rising Pros Fralin web

On Tuesday, November 12th, the Chamber Rising Professionals were treated to a special evening at The Fralin Museum of Art. Free and open to the public year-round, The Fralin has been a cornerstone of arts and culture at UVA and broader Charlottesville since its opening in 1935.

On Tuesday evening, the museum was alive with repeat visitors and new faces meeting over Potter’s Cider and autumnal pies provided by Charlottesville’s own Keith Groomes, the mastermind behind The Pie Guy. While enjoying these drinks and delightful bites, The Fralin’s Associate Director of Annual Giving, Hannah Foster—a new Rising Pros member and fairly new Charlottesvillian—gave opening remarks.

This was followed by a very special tour of the museum's current exhibitions led by The Fralin’s new Curator of Collections, Dr. Kristen Nassif. It was the first of what we hope will be many events between The Fralin and Rising Pros friends!
