In one or two sentences, what does your organization do?
Broadcasting since 1996, WNRN is an independent music radio network in Virginia, broadcasting throughout Charlottesville, Richmond, Lynchburg, Roanoke, Hampton Roads, and The Valley, with a mission to strengthen communities through music, art, and education.

Tell us about one of your recent success stories.
WNRN is now heard from the Blue Ridge to the Bay, broadcasting on new signals, 99.5FM Roanoke, 102.5FM Hampton Roads, 103.3 Williamsburg, and 94.3FM in The Valley.

How does your organization give back to the community?
In 2023, WNRN provided over $1 million in free air time to nearly 300 nonprofits across the state through our award-winning Hear Together program.

What makes your organization different from others like it?
WNRN is a listener supported, independent, music public radio station. Listeners hear local music right alongside internationally recognized names, non-profit organizations they can become involved with, and small businesses in their communities. WNRN supports our local musicians through air-time and presenting their shows at venues across the state.

What is one thing you are most excited for your organization to do in the future?
WNRN will continue to bring live, local, and new music to music lovers across Virginia and beyond through our streaming platforms and media reach.
