Future of Talent Series Returns

Future of Talent - 3

The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce and the City of Charlottesville's Office of Economic Development proudly present a new series of Future of Talent events, diving deep into the evolving landscape of work.

In a series of three events scheduled for September 12, October 23, and November 14, small business owners and hiring managers are invited to learn and share fresh ideas for attracting great talent and building a strong team.

“Local employers face unprecedented conditions, like a workforce that spans five generations,” said Jenny Biche, Workforce Development Program Manager for the City of Charlottesville. “Through the Future of Talent series, we share the latest strategies to help local businesses succeed in hiring and staffing.”

The fall event series will feature ten expert speakers sharing how to “maximize your people power” by understanding the multi-generational workforce, recruiting from specialized populations, and cultivating new talent with apprenticeships and internships.

Registration is now open at www.CvilleChamber.com/talent.

Events will take place at CitySpace on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. The September event takes place 9-11am and includes coffee and refreshments; the October and November events take place 12-2pm and include lunch.

The cost per event is $25 for Chamber members, $30 for non-members. Until September 12, participants can sign up for the 3-event series at a discount of $60 for members or $75 for non-members.
