I’m a Commercial Photographer with over 35 years of experience, specializing in website, event, and marketing photography for businesses. Despite my love for this work, dance photography has always held a special place in my heart.

It all began in 1988 when I started photographing dancers for my brother's studio in Chesapeake. This ignited a lifelong passion that led me to establish Shining Stars Photo as a second business, dedicated to capturing the athleticism and artistry of dancers.

My dedication to this craft led me to train under famous dance photographer Rachel Neville in New York. For photographers who are authentic and great at their work, both Commercial and Dance Photography education are continuous journeys requiring dedication and a love for learning because you can never finish.
