Chamber Launches Redesigned Website for the Local Business Community
The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce invites the local business community to enjoy new resources and a more seamless visitor experience on the Chamber’s newly redesigned website, www.CvilleChamber.com.
“The photos on the new home page look great, and everything is easier to find,” said Chamber Board member Stephen Horan of CFA Institute. “Key actions for key stakeholders are front and center.”
New Resources
Among the new resources for Chamber members is a Member Newsroom, which allows members to upload their press releases directly to the Chamber website.
A New Member Checklist offers twelve key suggestions for making the most of a Chamber membership – from in-person networking and industry collaboration to online promotions and brand-building opportunities.
All of the Chamber’s marketing & sponsorship options are now easy to find in one convenient list, whether members are looking for free online promotions or top-tier annual sponsorships.
Not a member yet? The new Why Join? page helps prospective members understand the benefits they can receive by joining the Chamber.
Better Design
Design changes include many new photos. Chamber board members and ambassadors are pictured on the new site. New local photos include a solar installation by Sigora Solar at CFA Institute, an aerial view of the UVA Rotunda, harvest at King Family Vineyard, and planes on the runway at Charlottesville Albemarle Airport.
The redesigned website features a mobile-responsive layout that automatically adjusts for the optimum mobile or desktop experience.
New home page icons and an intuitive top navigation menu help make all website pages easier to find. Member features like Job Postings and Member-to-Member Deals have better visibility.
Roundtable, Council & Committee pages now feature key information, like meeting times & locations – as well as attendance policies for non-members – in a standard format at the top of the page.
