Andrea Copeland, President & CEO
Andrea Copeland started her Chamber career in 2007, volunteering with the Chamber’s Ambassador Corps. Through the Corps, she provided frontline support for all the chamber events, connecting with and building relationships with our members, many of whom are still involved with the chamber today.
In 2012, Andrea joined the chamber professional staff as the Director of Member Education Services, bringing with her more than 15 years of experience in the preschool, public school, and private college sectors. Andrea was also hired to direct the chamber’s signature program, Leadership Charlottesville, successfully serving both roles until assuming the position of Committee Engagement Director in 2020. In June 2023, Andrea was named Chief Operating Officer. She became President & CEO in May 2025. She is a graduate of Piedmont Virginia Community College and Old Dominion University.
Andrea's professional development accomplishments include the successful completion of the following leadership and executive programs: Leadership Charlottesville; Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) Emerging Leaders Circle; Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE) Management Program; US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management (IOM) program; US Chamber of Commerce Business Leads Fellowship Program; and Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Certificate in Chamber Management (CCM) program.
An active member of her community, Andrea volunteers on several local boards and committees, and is the longtime emcee for the area’s favorite family holiday event, City of Charlottesville’s Grand Illumination.

Zach Hall, Membership Coordinator
Zach Hall began his involvement with the Chamber in 2022 as an active member, volunteering at events and participating in programs like Rising Professionals. He supported front-line event operations and even contributed his photography skills to the MBA Gala.
In 2025, Zach joined the Chamber staff as the Membership Coordinator. In this role, he focuses on promoting the Chamber’s brand and helping current and prospective members understand and utilize the benefits available to them. Zach is a graduate of Old Dominion University.
Zach’s perspective as a former member gives him a unique connection with the community. He knows firsthand how to make the most of the Chamber's resources. Drawing on his background in the music industry, Zach has built strong networks and now helps businesses and individuals in Charlottesville do the same.

Jenna Huber, Marketing and Events Coordinator
Jenna has a strong background in marketing and outreach, with professional experience in website development, email campaigns, social media, and branding. Her education in public policy has strengthened her ability to analyze data, think strategically, and make informed decisions—skills she applies to every project.
In 2025, Jenna joined the Chamber staff as the Marketing and Events Coordinator. In this role, she leads the Chamber’s marketing and branding efforts through the managing of digital communications and supporting events. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville and the University of Virginia.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys all things creative including baking, crocheting, and art. She also enjoys staying active through running and visiting different walking trails around Virginia.

Judy Pointer, Administrative Coordinator
Judy Jones Pointer served as the Program Administrator for the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Virginia School of Medicine for 16 years. Her work included planning, managing, and organizing recruitment activities for current/prospective minority medical students from underrepresented populations. A graduate of Fisk University and Vanderbilt University, she is also a proud 50-year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Judy is now semi-retired and active as a Mobile Notary and community volunteer. She joined the Chamber team in 2025. She has been married to William H. Pointer, Jr. for 42 years and enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, traveling, working crossword puzzles, and talking to people everywhere.

Sharon Engle, Accounting/Financial Services
Sharon Engle is a self-employed bookkeeper who works with several Charlottesville businesses. She has been running her own business since 2002 and joined the Chamber team in 2017. Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cruising, and volunteering with various local organizations.
